Oregon Cop Critically Wounded at Traffic Stop

Oregon State Police are searching for a suspect who opened fire on a Lincoln City (Ore.) PD officer late Sunday during a traffic stop along a coastal highway.
The 45-year-old officer was hit multiple times, after he pulled over a 1984 Dodge SUV for speeding along Highway 101. State troopers used spike strips to stop the vehicle about 40 miles south of Lincoln City and are searching for the suspect, who fled into the woods, reports the Seattle Times.
