Loughner Pleads Not Guilty In Tucson Shootings

Accused Tucson shooter Jared Loughner's enigmatic behavior was on display again, as a not-guilty plea was entered on his behalf before a federal judge.
Appearing in U.S. District Court, Loughner at times scrunched his face, at other times laughed openly as if hearing a private joke while his defense attorney, Judy Clarke, discussed the case with Assistant U.S. Attorney Wallace Kleindienst at the brief arraignment hearing in Phoenix, the Arizona Republic reported.
