Wash. Deputies Wounded In Walmart Gunfight

Two Kitsap County (Wash.) Sheriff's deputies were wounded Sunday afternoon, after a man they confronted turned and fired after running from the deputies in a Walmart parking lot in Port Orchard.
A female deputy who entered the chaotic scene ended the gunfight by shooting the subject, after the man also shot a young woman who had run toward him, reports the Seattle Times.
The deputies' wounds were not considered life threatening.
