Four Detroit Officers Shot In Precinct Assault

A gunman who opened fire inside the Detroit PD's Northwestern District station on Sunday afternoon wounded four officers, before he was fatally shot by officers who returned fire.
Commander Brian Davis, Sgt. Ray Saati, Officer David Anderson and a female sergeant were struck by rounds from the gunman's pistol-grip shotgun. All are expected to recover, reports the Detroit Free Press.
The female sergeant in a hallway was struck first. Commander Davis then rushed out of his office to exchange fire, and was hit in the back. The gunman rushed the station's front desk, hitting Sgt. Saati and Officer Anderson in the head with grazing wounds.
