Michigan Cop Killed During Home Invasion Sting

An undercover surveillance team attempted to arrest two suspects in a home-invasion ring, triggering a gunfight that left a Livonia (Mich.) Police officer and suspect dead.
Officer Larry Nehasil, 48, married and a father of two, is the department's first line-of-duty death. He had previously worked for the Wayne County Sheriff's Office, reports the Detroit Free Press.
