Arizona Man Shot After Pointing AK-47 at Deputy

A Maricopa County (Ariz.) Sheriff's deputy critically wounded a man who had pointed an AK-47 at the deputy, after fighting with his wife, reports the Arizona Republic.
After a fight with his wife, Felipe Ramirez Castellanos reportedly fired several rounds from the AK-47 at her while driving away. Deputies who stopped Castellanos as he drove away fired after he pointed the AK-47 at them from inside the vehicle. He was struck in the hip and head.
