Connecticut Officer Falls Through Skylight

A veteran Bridgeport (Conn.) Police officer was injuring, after he fell 20 feet through a skylight while pursuing a robbery suspect, reports the News Times.
Police said officers initially responded to a burglary at a home before 1 a.m. this morning. Three suspects were discovered at that location, attempting to steal copper materials from a vacant home, police said. One suspect was apprehended, while two other suspects fled and officers began a chase on foot, police said.
The officer fell through a skylight of Lindley Food Services that had been covered in plastic.
