Massachusetts Officer Injured Breaking Up New Year's Fight

A Sturbridge (Mass.) Police officer was seriously injured, while trying to break up a New Year's party, reports the Boston Herald.

Officer Daniel Hemingway reportedly has several broken facial bones after allegedly being assaulted early Saturday by 21-year-old Gideon Docimo of West Brookfield.
