Thousands Pay Tribute to Slain Florida Deputy

Thousands of relatives, co-workers and other officers paid tribute at the memorial service for slain Orange County (Fla.) Sheriff's Dep. Brandon Coates, reports the Orlando Sentinel.
Coates was fatally shot Dec. 9 during a traffic stop. Suspect Brandon Lyals, 29, later fatally shot himself.
At a brief ceremony on Monday, bagpipers played "Going Home," and widow Virginia Coates stood with fellow deputies at her side.
