AG Holder To Muslim Group: Terrorist Stings Are Not Entrapment

Attorney General Eric Holder told a Muslim group on Friday that FBI undercover stings that have uncovered terrorist plots are necessary for "protecting American lives" and those who allege government entrapment "don't have their facts straight," reports the Washington Post.
Recent FBI stings have uncovered an Oregon man who planned to detonate a car bomb at a Christmas tree lighting ceremony, and a northern Virginia man accused of plotting to bomb Washington-area Metro stations.
In the latest case, a Baltimore construction worker plotted to blow up a military recruiting station in Maryland, after the FBI learned about his radical views on Facebook.
