Chicago Cop Slain Investigating Auto Break-in

Chicago police are investigating the fatal shooting of an on-duty officer, who was killed Friday while investigating a vehicle break-in, reports the Chicago Tribune.
The body of Officer Michael Flisk, 46, was found in a South Side alley along with the 44-year-old man who had called in the attempted burglary.
Flisk is the sixth officer lost by the Chicago PD in 2010.
