Off-Duty Texas Deputy Fires On Burglary Suspect

An off-duty Bexar County (Texas) deputy fired on a burglary suspect who attempted to run him down while the deputy worked security while in uniform, reports the San Antonio Express-News.
Deputy Brent Bible confronted Christopher Gries, 30, while he peered into a vehicle. Gries then returned to his still-running Cadillac Escalade and steered it toward the deputy.
