California City Considers 'Public Shaming' of DUIs on Facebook

To curb "a significant DUI problem," Huntington Beach, Calif., is now considering posting the names of convicted drunk drivers, reports the Los Angeles Times.
The names would be posted to the Huntington Beach PD's Facebook page, under a plan now being considered by the City Council. The "public shaming" of DUIs, according to one councilman, could be an effective tool to lower the numbers of drunk drivers.
