Dallas Officer Calls for 'Full Legalization'

Dallas Police Officer Nick Novello spoke out in favor of legalizing marijuana at a Sunday seminar in Fort Worth, reports the Dallas Morning News.
Novello, 56, said he supports "full legalization and full regulation." Novello is a 29-year veteran of the department and a spokesman for Law Enforcement Against Prohibition (LEAP), a group of former and current officers supporting legalization. The group also supported California's Proposition 19 that failed to pass earlier this month.
