Hundreds Gather for Vigil for Riverside Officer

Hundreds of friends, relatives and members of the community gathered to honor fallen Riverside Police Officer Ryan Bonaminio at a candlelight vigil in downtown Riverside, reports the Southwest Riverside News Network.
The "In the Spirit of Ryan" vigil was dominated by tears and stories by friends and relatives who are recalling the 27-year-old officer who was shot and killed Sunday night. Hundreds gathered in the cool evening at the Safe in His Arms Memorial in front of the police department's Orange Street Station.
