Judge Blocks Phoenix Chief From Firing Officer Accused of Murder

A Maricopa County Superior Court judge on Wednesday blocked the firing of a Phoenix police officer charged with murder in the shooting of an unarmed man on duty, reports the Arizona Republic.
Officer Richard Chrisman, 36, filed the injunction after his superiors summoned him to a meeting to defend himself against termination.
