Shot Brooklyn Cop Fell Down Stairs Into Arms of Officer

The NYPD officer wounded during a gun battle with a teenager tumbled down a flight of stairs and eventually landed in the arms of a fellow NYPD officer, reports the New York Daily News.

After allegedly being shot in the leg by suspect Elijah Foster-Bey, 17, Officer Richard Ramirez, 29, stumbled down the stairs and into the arms of a fellow officer who dragged him to cover.

Foster-Bey was collared, and a .32-caliber revolver was recovered from the scene.
