Texas Cop Fires on Driver Who Rammed Squad Car

A Fort Worth (Texas) Police officer fired on the driver of an sport-utility vehicle who had rammed his cruiser several times and had attempted to run the officer down, reports the Dallas Morning News.
Officer K.M. Bickley had stopped an SUV driven by a person who matched the description of a shooting suspect on Sunday. The driver pulled his vehicle into a driver and, when the officer began approaching, rammed his vehicle into the patrol car and tried to run down the officer.
Bickley fired seven rounds at the fleeing suspect who was apprehended later Sunday morning.
