Parolee Who Rammed California Motor Officer Arrested In Los Angeles

Los Angeles police officers arrested 36-year-old parolee Alexander Diaz on Wednesday for allegedly intentionally running down a northern California motor officer, the San Jose Mercury News reports.
Police arrested Diaz with the help of a witness who helped him escape, after he rammed Fremont (Calif.) Police officer Patrick Brower with a stolen delivery van.
Diaz is charged with attempted murder and vehicle theft.
