Florida Officer Charged With Murdering Ex-girlfriend While On Duty

A Parker (Fla.) PD officer has been charged with murdering his ex-girlfriend while on-duty, dragging her body into the woods and leaving the scene in his cruiser, the Walton Sun reports.

Officer Mark Alan Bomia, 43, was arrested Saturday night and charged with murdering Anna Beach, 35.

Bomia shot and strangled Beach Thursday morning, removed her clothing, and dumped her body in the woods behind her house, and then left the area in a Parker patrol car, according to an arrest affidavit from the Bay County Sheriff's Office.
