Have you had a "brush with greatness"? Send us proof!
We're collecting photos of cops whose work has led them to deal directly with celebrities, politicians and heads of states. Do you have a photo of yourself (in uniform) with someone our readers would recognize? Send us a photo for consideration for inclusion in our "Brushes With Greatness" photo gallery.
Sgt. Diana Drummey of the Coronado (Calif.) PD got a few minutes with former President Bill Clinton when he stopped in the resort island city to play a round of golf. Because the city is home to the world-renowned Hotel del Coronado, the CPD is called into high-level protective duty a few times a year.
"I may not like all his politics, but he was an awfully nice guy," said Drummey.
The photo you send us can be from any period of time, black and white or color. Include your full name and current rank, a short caption (explaining the circumstances of the photo) and who took the photo.
Send it via e-mail to paul.clinton@policemag.com. Please send a digital copy only (we'd hate to be responsible for any precious originals).
