Trooper Arrested After Pointing Gun at Off-Duty Boston Cop

An 18-year Massachusetts State Police veteran and Army hero was arrested Saturday morning, after he allegedly drove drunk, pointed a gun at an off-duty Boston police officer and fired a shot into the ceiling of his house.

An 18-year Massachusetts State Police veteran and Army hero was arrested Saturday morning, after he allegedly drove drunk, pointed a gun at an off-duty Boston police officer and fired a shot into the ceiling of his house, reports Boston.com.

Trooper Timothy Walsh has been on military leave for five, after serving multiple tours in Afghanistan. He received the Army Commendation Medal for valor in 2009.

Walsh has been charged with operating under the influence of alcohol, leaving the scene of an accident, assault with a dangerous weapon, illegal discharge of a firearm, and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
