'Funny Smell' Leads Miami Officer to Marijuana Lab

After responding to a burglary call, a Miami police officer was outside the home working on his report, when he noticed a "funny smell" that let him to a marijuana growing operation, reports the Miami Herald.

The officer discovered a "fully operational hydroponics laboratory" with 85 fully grown pot plants. Miami police's Special Investigations Section responded to the home.
