Chicago Carjacker Opens Fire on Officers

One of two Chicago PD officers who exchanged gunfire with a carjacking suspect was struck twice by gunfire during a Saturday night shooting on the South Side of the city, the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
The 10-year veteran was hit in his ballistic vest and shoulder while returning to a marked patrol car after responding to a disturbance call. The suspect who carjacked a vehicle earlier in the evening on the Dan Ryan Expressway.
