Louisiana Court Reverses Decision On DWI Stops

A Louisiana appellate court has reversed a trial court decision that ruled against law enforcement in two cases that involved an officer who pulled over a drunk-driving suspect outside of their jurisdiction, the Shreveport Times reports.
Officers can pull over suspected drunk drivers in other jurisdictions because of the danger to the community, two appellate judges ruled separately.
