Florida Deputy Smashes Window To Arrest Parole Violator

A Lee County (Fla.) Sheriff's deputy smashed the driver's side window of a Fort Myers man wanted for violating his parole, so he could place him under arrest, WZVN-HD reports.
The unnamed deputy pulled over 26-year-old Brandon Helms on Monday. Harris presented his license, and then rolled up the driver's side window and refused to exit the vehicle.
Helms was driving with a suspended license and was wanted on a battery charge. There were prior reports that Helms was armed.
