Deputy Accused of Choking Wife After She Threatened to Take Away PS3

Lake County (Fla.) Sheriff's deputy Gary French allegedly choked his wife when she threatened to take away his Playstation 3 gaming console and later lied about it to investigators, the Orlando Sentinel reports.

French told investigators his wife wrapped a towel around her own neck and squeezed it when he was interviewed by Mount Dora PD officers.

The sheriff's office has disciplined French by transferring him to the Lake County Jail to work as a detention officer.
