The Denver Police Department has re-opened its investigation of a videotaped rough arrest of two clubgoers outside of a nightclub, after community outcry that officers used excessive force and were kept on the force, the Denver Post reports.
"Additional witnesses and new information has been made available to investigators," the department announced in a news release late Thursday. "As a result, the case has been reopened."
