Dallas Pursuit Ends at Airport Runway

A carjacking suspect led Dallas police officers on a low-speed pursuit that ended, when officers used a dramatic PIT maneuver to stop his truck at a Love Field runway, reports the Dallas Morning News.
Driver Michael Laurence Browne, 46, of Dallas is suspected of carjacking a woman in Fort Worth on Wednesday and may be responsible for as many as 10 crimes in the last several weeks.
The pursuit began when undercover officers ran the plate of the Chevrolet pickup it it came back as stolen. Browne fled when uniformed officers attempted to make a felony stop.
