Bee Swarm Traps N.C. Deputy In Cruiser

A Wake County (N.C.) Sheriff's deputy was trapped inside his patrol cruiser for three hours, after an estimated 50,000 bees attached themselves to the vehicle, the News Observer reports.
Brandon Jenkins, a master deputy, pulled over to help a stopped trailer in Knightdale off Interstate 64. About 60 boxes of Italian bees had fallen from the vehicle.
When Jenkins returned to his cruiser, the bees swarmed. He called 911 and waited.
