Pennsylvania K-9 Bites Trooper During Foot Pursuit

A Pennsylvania trooper is being treated for a severe dog bite caused when a Wyomissing PD K-9 accidentally chased him down during the foot pursuit of a bank-robbery suspect, MyFoxPhilly.com reports.
Officers were searching for suspect Angel Diaz, 24, inside a mall. A warning was issued for officers to stop pursuing the suspect, so the K-9 unit could be released. However, Trooper Robert Hess apparently didn't hear the warning and was bitten.
