Missouri Deputy Apprehends 'Drunk Guys' Breaking Into His Home

A Boone County (Mo.) Sheriff's deputy detained two men over the weekend, who broke into his home to attempt a robbery, the Columbia Daily Tribune reports.
The deputy, who was not identified, heard noises outside his house, called 911 and grabbed a gun. He was waiting for the men, as they kicked down his door, and took them into custody without firing shots.
The men appeared to be "two drunk guys" looking to commit a burglary, a police spokeswoman said.
