Impounded Pit Bull Gives Birth In Patrol Car

A pit bull that had been impounded and waited in the rear of a Prescott Valley (Ariz.) PD cruiser surprised an officer who opened the door of the vehicle at the station to find more than one dog.

Dutchess, who has been impounded and "looked quite pregnant," had given birth to a male puppy during the ride back to the station, the Los Angeles Times reports.
