Two escaped Arizona convicts and a Mesa woman suspected in the slaying of an Oklahoma couple were believed to be in Yellowstone National Park on Sunday and becoming increasingly desperate, authorities said.
With the trio connected to the killing of two campers in New Mexico as well as the hijacking of at least two other people, authorities said anyone who comes in contact with them is in danger.
It's believed the trio has split up since arriving in Wyoming, said Thomas Henman, supervisory deputy U.S. marshal for the district of Arizona.
John McCluskey, 45, of Mesa, who was serving time for the attempted murder of a police officer, and his fiancee, Casslyn Welch, 44, have parted ways with convicted murderer Tracy Province, 42, Henman said. Province stabbed a Tucson laundry owner 51 times in 1993.
