Indianapolis Officer's Girlfriend Tossed Pistol Out of Cruiser During Dispute

An Indianapolis Metro PD officer faces two felony counts involving a domestic dispute with his girlfriend that started inside his police cruiser and ended after a seven-hour search that invlolved SWAT officers, IndyStar.com reports.
Sgt. Stephen Blinn, a 24-year department veteran, struggled with his girlfriend during a physical altercation during which he fired his Glock .40-caliber service pistol in the vehicle. Blinn didn't point the weapon at his girlfriend, who grabbed it and tossed it out of the cruiser.
