Mexican Cartels Threaten Arizona Sheriff

July 06, 2010  |

Members of the Mexican Mafia and drug cartels have issued death threats against Pinal County (Ariz.) Sheriff Paul Babeu that have been found to be credible, FOX News reports.

Babeu has been outspoken about the need to secure his state's border with Mexico, and has called for federal troops in southern Arizona because his department is "outgunned" in a war against drug and human smugglers.

In April, a Pinal deputy was shot by drug smugglers. Fourteen of the 17 detainees in that shooting were illegal immigrants.

In late June, cartel death threats were issued against Nogales (Ariz.) PD officers who had busted two narcotics deals while off duty.

How many officers and others will be attacked and killed before people will stand up and DEMAND an end to all the PC BS so we can get the ludicrous mess developing by leaps and bounds on the border cleaned up? This is our country and so many are so afraid of offending someone that we are literally allowing it to be taken by people who have no right to even be here aided and abetted by so-called 'leaders' and courts, etc., that have no spine or sense of America.

If this isn't telling everyone the true story of the systemic failures coming out of Washington, nothing will. We either vote in major changes this November or we all sit down and shut up. The choice is ours.

Let's get to the solutions...Maybe the police force should go on strike or protest... it seems it's going to take something drastic to wake these politicians up who have no formal experience in dealing with this issue. Most people don't realize this is status quo for the cartels to kill or threaten anyone in their way but if there are too many for them to targetl, it will really mess them up. The only way anything is going to improve is if people come out of their fear of being called racist (this is clearly not a race issue) and start protesting! Someone will credibility needs to log onto www.change.org and start a petition and have Fox News ask it's members to sign it and send it to Obama and others. Something has to be done before it's too late! I'm willing to volunteer my time to help- if enough people support me.
