Teen Who Killed Sacramento Deputy Permanently Removed From Society

The 16-year-old gang member who shot and killed a Sacramento County Sheriff's deputy has received a life sentence, the Sacramento Bee reports.
Jimmy Siackisorn ambushed Deputy Vu Nguyen during a foot pursuit. The deputy was pursuing the "young but prolific lawbreaker" through the back yards of a tough south Sacramento neighborhood. Siackisorn shot the deputy on top of a chicken coop.
Siackisorn was given a life sentence with no possibibility of parole.
