Former BART Police Officer Marysol Domenici, one of the first transit officers to respond to Fruitville Station on Jan. 1, 2009, to the incident that escalated to Johannes Mehserle's shooting of Oscar Grant, testified Thursday in Mehlserle's second-degree murder trial.
Domenici, who is among a trio of officers fired over the incident, had previously said the shooting could have been prevented if Grant and his friends had followed offiers' commands to comply.
During her testimony on the witness stand, Domenici was shown snippets of video showing her role in the confrontation, and testified that she didn't remember Grant touching her, the Oakland Tribune reports.
Former officer Anthony Pirone, who was also fired as a result of the incident, is expected to testify today.
