Off-Duty Baltimore Officer Shoots Home Invader In His Living Room

An 18-year Baltimore Police Department veteran shot a man who had broken into his home and was attempting to burglarize his home, the Baltimore Sun reports.
The officer heard a commotion in his living room sometime before 6 a.m. Friday morning and came down stairs from his second-floor bedroom to find the man going through the officer's items near unlocked weapons.
The man was taken for medical treatment and the officer was unhurt.
