Mass. Officer Saves Residents From Burning House

A Waltham (Mass.) PD police officer was patrolling at the town line between Waltham and Newton at 5:30 a.m. Saturday when he saw a porch fire, the Boston Herald reports.
Officer Anthony Scichilone radioed dispatch to report the blaze, and then headed toward the Newton home. When reaching the property, he noticed several gas cans and propane canisters under the porch.
He then pounded on the front door and evacuated all the residents inside the three apartments.
