Slain Phoenix Officer 'Absolutely Loved His Job'

Phoenix police officer Travis Murphy, who was shot and killed while investigating a suspicious vehicle early Wednesday, is being remembered as an exceptional officer with a bright future with the department, KPHO.com reports.
The 29-year-old had worked for the department for 4 1/2 years. He was married, had a 2-year-old daughter and a 2-week-old son. Murphy's wife has said he "absolutely loved his job."
