Off-Duty Chicago Officer Back From Iraq Killed During Motorcycle Theft

An off-duty Chicago police officer was shot and killed outside his house, when four suspects attempted to steal his new motorcycle, the Chicago Tribune reports.
Thomas Wortham IV had returned from his second tour in Iraq. Wortham's father, a retired officer, attempted to help his son and shot two of the the attackers.
