California Deputy Stops Shooting Rampage

A Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputy halted a disgruntled ex-boyfriend who had entered a Hawaiian Gardens home and began shooting and killed two people, the Los Angeles Times reports.
The gunman had doused areas of the home with gasoline. He shot five of the 10 residents of the home before the deputy shot the gunman, who carried an AK-47 rifle. Residents of the home were reportedly jumping out of the upstairs windows.
