N.C. Man Who Allegedly Killed Wife Leads Officers on 150-Mile Pursuit

A suspect who allegedly killed his estranged wife has surrendered to police after a three-hour standoff and 150-mile chase that resulted in the closure of Interstate 85 in N.C., the Charlotte Observer reports.
Arthur Duval Mims, 45, sat in his truck and refused to surrender, causing a backup of 15 miles and affecting thousands of motorists.
The North Carolina Highway Patrol took Mims into custody Tuesday morning.
