Third New Orleans Officer Admits Role In Katrina Coverup

A third New Orleans police officer will be prosecuted for firing on unarmed citizens during Hurricane Katrina, NOLA reports.
Michael Hunter was charged for conspiring to cover up the shootings of six people on the Danzinger Bridge during the disaster. He entered a guilty plea today.
According to a summary of the case signed by Hunter, the officers fired on the people even when they learned they were unarmed.
