First Choice Armor Announces Synergy Series NIJ .06 Level IIIA Certification

April 02, 2010  |

First Choice Armor announces the NIJ 0101.06 certification of its latest Synergy Series of high-performance, lightweight body armor. This new model is
available in concealable and tactical body armor configurations.

First Choice Armor's newest armor model, Synergy IIIA XS6X is available in standard sizes and may be custom fit upon request. The Synergy IIIA XS6X is certified in C1 to C5
sizes and is listed on the compliant products list at
http://www.justnet.org, which makes it available for Bullet
Proof Vest Partnership (BVP) funding.

"The Synergy IIIA XS6X exhibits superior performance in new and conditioned armor testing for backface signature (BFS), V50, and V05," explains Dale Taylor, senior vice president of First Choice Armor's Products Group. "The new Synergy IIIA's BFS is 37 mm in new condition and only 39 mm after exposure to the rigorous .06 Armor Conditioning Protocol."

During SHOT Show, First Choice received positive feedback from law enforcement officers and law enforcement equipment distributors. Lee Markl, president of Markl Supply, commented, "The new Synergy IIIA XS6X package is lightweight
and flexible as compared to other NIJ .06 packages we have
seen recently. Synergy is bound to make a significant market impact."
