Ancom has introduced the SMEAD Spill Proof Secure Pocket that could be useful to law enforcement in evidence and case file storage.
To store and use bulky documents, move the elastic straps to the bottom of the pocket to insert the documents. Then, re-position the straps to the side for snag-free drawer storage. Following that, place the elastic straps over the pocket opening to keep documents in order and prevent them from falling out when moving the file.
The pocket is available in straight-cut top tab and extra-wide end tab styles. These styles feature sturdy redrope construction with a 6½-inch high gusset on both sides of the pocket. The straight-cut top tab Secure Pocket is reinforced with ½-inch rollover Tyvek that makes the gusset tear resistant.
The extra-wide end-tab pocket also has a fully lined Tyvek gusset to guard against tearing when being pulled from a shelf. Additionally, the end-tab pocket has added width to accommodate top tab folders inside the pocket. Both styles feature a drop front to enhance document accessibility.
All Secure Pockets contain 30% recycled content and 30% post-consumer material and are sourced according to the "Certified Sourcing" policies as set forth by the Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI).
