Texas Officers Capture Goat After Foot Pursuit

Four Odessa (Texas) police officers, an off-duty motorcycle cop and two animal control officers eventually caught up with a rogue goat and apprehended the animal, the Odessa American reports.
The goat was first spotted in the parking lot of a Taco Bell at about 5 p.m. Saturday, after the Odessa Police Department received a call of a sheep running down a street.
After arriving at the scene, officers pursued the goat down 42nd Street, through a city park and onto the campus of the University of Texas of the Permian Basin (UTPB).
The animal was eventually apprehended near Highway 80, after animal control officers shot it with a tranquilizer gun.
