Phoenix K-9 Officer Honored For Rescuing Abducted Girl on Christmas

The decisive action of Phoenix K-9 officer Mike Burns resulted in the return of a 5-year-old girl, who was abducted by a parolee on Christmas Day, AZCentral.com reports.
Burns began pursuing Larry Jon Ladwig, 45, after noticing a suspicious truck, hearing several Amber Alerts, and seeing the missing girl's picture on a billboard. The license plate on the car didn't match the Amber Alert, but Burns said the driver matched the description and there was a little girl sitting in the passenger seat.
That girl turned out to be Natalie Flores, who was kidnapped while playing outside her apartment with her two sisters.
