Huckabee Blames Prosecutors, Says "Heart is Broken"

Mike Huckabee, who as Arkansas governor commuted the sentence of the man suspected of killing four Lakewood Police officers, said Monday night his "heart is broken" but insisted that prosecutors and judges were derelict in keeping Maurice Clemmons from returning to prison.
Huckabee, who is now a FOX news television personality, appeared on "The O'Reilly Factor."
Host Bill O'Reilly said "this is a bad hombre, and you let him out, why?"
Huckabee: "If I could've known nine years ago that this guy was capable of something of this nature, obviously I would've never granted the commutation. It's sickening...in the case of this particular individual, he sentenced to 108 years for two crimes when he was 16."
Huckabee, who has been criticized for granting what critics say were too many reduced sentences when he was governor, said corrections officials recommended that Clemmons sentence be commuted to 47 years.

Huckabee has no one to blame but himself. IF the Judge gave that knuckle head 108 years in prision he should have served it. Now that he is trying to pass the buck. Just a typical politician. The families should sue Huckabee.
